Sustainability in practice

Taking responsibility and acting is more important than ever today - for our guests, our employees, our partners and the whole society.

For us, sustainability means a permanent value proposition that our employees live by in all facets.

The Öschberghof bears social, ecological and economic responsibility for this and all future generations.

We offer our guests sustainable luxury and work every day to get better:

"Lots of little people doing lots of little things in lots of little places can change the face of the world."

(African proverb)

The Öschberghof is highly committed to the areas of regionality, sustainable development, as well as social and economic responsibility.

On july 22, 2024, the Öschberghof was awarded the GreenSign Level 4 certificate for this.

We attach great importance to the protection of the environment and nature, especially on the golf course. The country and golf club Öschberghof was created for this purpose honored with the Gold Seal of the DGV for golf & nature.

GreenSign
Level 4

On july22nd, 2024 the Öschberghof was awarded the GreenSign Seal Level 4:

"The requirements for sustainable management are met to a large extent by the hotel."

GreenSign is the leading award in the field of sustainability for the hotel industry. Hotels and resorts across Europe are assessed using a practical certification catalog.

The harmony between luxury and sustainability with a focus on ecology, economy and social responsibility are particularly decisive here.

The areas of management & communication, the environment (energy, water, waste), purchasing, regionality & mobility, quality management and sustainable development, social and economic responsibility are assessed. GreenSign stands for a high level of quality, because the audit is carried out by independent experts.

In addition, GreenSign from ISO certifications has been specially and practically adapted to the hotel industry.

Due to GSTC conformity, the criteria largely correspond to international standards. The certification is valid until March 23, 2027, during which time further independent audits will take place to maintain the GreenSign seal.
